We Wanted To Believe.
As most of the country's adults now that the Warriors basketball from Oakland have lost their 2nd series in the 2007 Playoffs. Me being a Bay Area resident, during the past month having the Warriors being in the playoffs has been the best thing since sliced bread. The thing that I was most disappointed was in i have loss 15$ in total of the bets I have placed. I really thought that the Warriors were going to make it through this series. Luckily, they won at least one game in the series. If they would of loss all of them I would of lost 20$ from my savings account. On the topic, the man that invented the saying "We Believe" and selling them at games for 15$ is a genius and must be making a killing. But, the most outrageous thing is that Oakland had the highest attendance in California Basketball History. It was like 20,000 something. Well if the man sold them to all of the fans there that night he would of made, 20,000 X 15= he would of made $450,000.00 dollars. That's alot of $20,$10,$5 to count at home! You can still buy the shirts I think at Hawaiian BBQ Drive Through for 15$. They are the originals, the one with out the Comcast label on the back. Its not already they take enough money from alot of parents. The last thing you really want to do is advertise them on your backs! So that's how the cookie crumbles here in the Bay Area. Another season down, many more to come.-Julian
